Website Migration

A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of cost (to a certain extent). We’ll transfer your website(s) to our avant–garde cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that switching hosting providers can lead to lost data and undesired downtime. This is why we will do all that for you at no cost!We have highly capable administrators whose primary job is to make sure that your site works precisely as it did on your old hosting platform. The administrators are well–versed in migrating custom–built web sites, as well as web sites that are based on well–known applications such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, because there are plenty of variables, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to move your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We do not need any information that is sensitive. We will need, however, the login info for your current web hosting account along with the name of the web site that you would like to move.

A: Client privacy is indeed one of our principal responsibilities – this is why, both our payment page and our Control Panel login page are protected with enterprise–level digital certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative operations to secure the details that we acquire on the web. And we also have a detailed and strict Privacy Policy, which outlines the types of information that we gather.

A: While we move your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous hosting provider. As soon as the transfer is over, we will make certain that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your web content is not compromised before notifying you that the transfer is complete. Then we will tell you how to transfer the domain to your web hosting account with us and how to modify your DNS resource records.

A: No. Apart from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we won’t need anything. We’ll never contact your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: Yep. We support all standard Linux–based hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered hosting platforms, as we don’t provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.In addition, we don’t support proprietary web site creation and administration interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
